The Faculty of Management and Economics of Wasit University and Kut University held the 5th International Conference of Administrative and Economic Sciences in partnership with Sumer University, the Technical Institute /Wasit and the Association of Islamic Universities in the presence of a large number of academic and social figures from inside and outside Iraq. The president of the university, Professor Dr. Mazen Al Hasani, said that this joint conference is the culmination of the agreement of cooperation and partnership signed in various scientific and research fields. The conference, which was held under the theme "Towards modern trends and advanced management in building an economy that keeps pace with the times", was launched in the corridors of the University College of Kut with the participation of more than 160 scientific papers from various universities and countries in the fields of economics and development, administrative sciences and modern trends, accounting sciences, statistics and mathematics, and financial and banking sciences, the conference witnessed the screening of a documentary film about the Faculty of Management and Economics at Wasit University and a documentary film about the University of Kut University since its founding in 2012 and its stages of development. The professors of the Faculty of Management and Economics played an active role in the scientific, preparatory and technical committees of the conference, as well as participating in scientific research and the management of scientific sessions and discussions.
