The President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Mazen Hassan Jassim al-Hasani, in cooperation with the Euro-Arab Organization for Environmental, Water and Desert Research, sponsored the establishment of three scientific conferences in Antalya/ Turkey at the 10th Forum for Scientific Research and related conferences. The conferences are the first conference on Islam and the issues of the times, the second conference on educational sciences and the 18th International Conference on Water Resources and the Environment.
