Wasit University implements campaign to afforestation school gardens

The Faculty of Agriculture at Wasit University carried out a campaign to afforestation the gardens of al-Karimia Primary School for Boys as part of the cultural week activities with the participation of the President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Mazen al-Hasani, Dean of the Faculty Dr. Hakim Al-Rikabi, and a number of university professors and students planted during the campaign a number of tree and tree seedlings produced in the nursery of the project of planting one million trees of the Faculty of Agriculture at Wasit University. The campaign was carried out with the participation of the Organization of Horizons and seedlings were cultivated (Albezia, Achentonia, Eucalyptus, Cassia Cluka and Khaf al-Jamal) and included awareness of the importance of afforestation in order to spread the culture of the clean environment and emphasize the care and sustainability of green spaces.
