Under the slogan "Our Voice in our Future", the Faculty of Law at Wasit University organized a scientific seminar entitled "Parliamentary elections in Iraq between reality. The challenges (in cooperation with the Electoral Commission and wasit police command and with the participation of researchers and specialists from the Faculty of Law and the Wasit Election Commission) the seminar held in the cultural building aims to introduce the laws and constitutional articles of the electoral law and included several axes, the first between the constitutional aspects and the laws relating to the conduct of elections and the second discussion of the political data of the elections under the current circumstances and the third discussed the laws related to the holding of parliamentary elections and the fourth touched on the mechanism followed by the Commission before the elections And the means available to it and confirmed the Dean of the Faculty of Law Assistant Professor Dr. Wesn Kazem Zarzour defense (about the readiness of the deanship of the college to open channels of communication and build bridges of cooperation with the High Commission and provide legal advice in order to reach a unified electoral law that guarantees justice to all the iraqi people and on the part of the chair of the session Assistant Professor Dr. Zuhair Khudhair Abbas (about the college's readiness to do other seminars in coordination with the Electoral Commission and recommended the seminar to follow up the work of the Constitutional Amendment Committee and publish it in the means of Media and the establishment of many seminars and workshops to increase the cultural awareness of the Iraqi citizen and speed up the vote on the federal court law.
