The Faculty of Medicine, Wasit University, participated in the specialized workshop (building the capacity of the national resident team), which was established by the National Council for the Accreditation of Medical Schools in cooperation with The Medicine of Jaber Bin Hayyan University of Medical Sciences, as members of the national resident team.

The workshop included the auditing of documents and infrastructure related to national reliability axes.

The workshop aimed to allow members of the national resident team to conduct an evaluation process similar to the evaluations of real medical colleges, thus preparing the members of the resident team ideally for visits to other colleges.

It is worth mentioning that Wasit Medicine has obtained conditional accreditation, which prompted the National Council to test four of its teachers to be part of the national resident team, namely Dr. Saleh Salman Al-Jabri, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Safaa Abdul Ilah Al-Tahli in the Children’s Branch, Dr. Saad Al Badri, Head of The Fassalja Branch and Medical Physics, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Bahadli, Teaching in the Surgical Branch.
