As part of his commitment to monitoring the progress of infrastructure projects, Professor Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Aqabi, President of Wasit University, accompanied by Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Shihab Ahmed, held a meeting with the staff of the Reconstruction and Projects Department to discuss the latest developments regarding ongoing works and projects, as well as to review completion rates and future work plans.

The University President emphasized the need to adhere to the designated timelines while stressing the importance of achieving the highest standards of quality in implementation to support the educational process and provide a comprehensive academic environment for students and faculty members.

His Excellency also directed efforts to overcome any obstacles that might hinder the progress of work, calling for enhanced cooperation among the relevant departments to ensure that projects are completed according to the set plans.

Dr. Al-Aqabi expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by the Reconstruction and Projects Department staff, reaffirming the University Presidency’s full support for all initiatives that contribute to the development of the university and the advancement of its service and academic facilities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President stressed the importance of continuing regular on-site follow-ups of the projects to ensure that the work proceeds as required and that the desired objectives are achieved.
