The step is part of the institution’s broader strategy to improve user satisfaction and meet the growing demands of the digital era.
The service will soon be available in all reception areas and public facilities within the university campus. Guests can connect to the Wi-Fi network named “Presidency of Wasit University”, with a dedicated technical support team in place to ensure a smooth and reliable experience.
This initiative supports multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure – by investing in digital infrastructure to facilitate connectivity and access to information.
Goal 4: Quality Education – by enabling easier access to academic and administrative systems for students, staff, and visitors.
Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions – by promoting transparent and efficient public services, fostering trust between the university and its stakeholders.
Through this digital transformation step, Wasit University reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development and continuous improvement.
