Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Aqabi, President of Wasit University, and under the supervision of Assist. Prof. Dr. Naseer Kadhim Al-Maliki, Dean of the College of Medicine, and in the presence of the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sabeih Lafta Al-Zubaidi, and Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Shihab Ahmed, as well as the assistant deans, a number of faculty members, staff, and students, the College of Medicine\u2014in collaboration with the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University Presidency and the Continuing Education Unit\u2014organized a specialized scientific lecture titled:
\u201cApplication of fMRI\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Shamil Mohsen Hadi, a faculty member at Oakland University in the United States, who holds a PhD in Computer Engineering and Applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The lecture addressed the various uses of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), providing a detailed explanation of how the technology works and its applications in diagnosing neurological and psychological disorders, studying brain functions, and its advanced role in artificial intelligence projects and bio-data analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The session was attended by a distinguished group of professors, students, and professionals in both medical and engineering fields. The scientific discussions significantly enriched the lecture and contributed to a deeper understanding of this evolving discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
