As part of its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and in support of efforts to combat corruption and promote transparency, the College of Education for Pure Sciences at Wasit University organized a training course titled: \u201cAdministrative Investigator Skills in Detecting Workplace Corruption.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The course was led by Asst. Lecturer Mohammed Qatan Radi and Asst. Lecturer Rudhab Abdul-Ali Hameed, and aimed to raise employees\u2019 awareness of how to operate effectively within investigative committees and how to uncover the truth in cases of administrative and financial misconduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key topics addressed in the course included administrative investigative procedures, the definition and forms of workplace corruption, and the essential technical, behavioral, and interpersonal skills required of investigators\u2014such as patience, resilience, courage, and flexibility in handling complex cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The course also explored the main challenges faced by investigators, the proper structuring of investigation reports, techniques for formulating questions, and methods for deducing facts from available evidence\u2014all with an emphasis on objectivity, impartiality, and professionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This initiative is part of a broader program aimed at strengthening institutional integrity, promoting accountability, and developing modern, effective mechanisms to combat corruption within educational environments, aligning with international development priorities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
