Wasit Police Directorate organized a workshop in cooperation with Wasit University on the program (institutional twinning with the participation of Professor Dr. Mazen Al Hasani, President of Wasit University, scientific and administrative assistants and dean of the Faculty of Science and a group of teaching specialists specialized in the criminal aspect, development of work and production of materials and modernization of devices to serve the work of the department and its role in uncovering the circumstances and ambiguity of many crimes and benefiting from the university's applied research experiences in various fields including security to serve the media community. Jaafar al-Mamouri will have a role in developing a nucleus for a research center or research unit that deals with this field, indicating that the college has expertise that can provide the department with scientific equipment, research and innovations related to the side of forensic evidence. Al-Hasani appreciated the role of the department's administrators, Colonel Khalaf, and members of the officers and ranks for efforts and experiences that qualify their criminal performance, stressing that the university will provide this department with future plans to ensure the performance of the quality of the investigation from an academic point of view and benefit from applied research, including security, which is linked to the leadership of wasit police and the media community.
