The President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Mazen al-Hasani, participated last week in the opening ceremony of the Tigris Cultural Street, which was suspended earlier as a result of the epidemiological situation, and Dr. Al Hasani was keen to attend within his community orientations, and the need to integrate academics with such distinct cultural meetings.
The opening ceremony included literary and artistic events, including book fairs, paintings, photo exhibitions, theatrical scenes and a poor folk poetry.
