Two teachers at the Faculty of Fine Arts participate in the project of 1000 playwrights for children
The two teachers at the College of Fine Arts at Wasit University, Prof. Dr. Habib Zahir Habib and Assistant Professor Dr. Qahtan Adnan, participated in the activities of the second season of the (1000) playwright project for children held in the holy city of Karbala.
Prof. Dr. Habib Zahir Habib said that the participation came to attend the seminars for trainers that were part of the activities of the project, which was held by the Child Welfare Authority in the Hassaniya Shrine in the holy city of Karbala, where two seminars were held (morning and evening) for trainers in order to develop the curriculum, work programs and timings, as well as the establishment of preliminary workshops during the current month of February in most governorates, including Wasit Governorate, so that Assistant Professor Dr. Qahtan Adnan will be the one who trains the participants in the governorate.
It is noteworthy that this project came within a strategy adopted by the Holy Husseiniya Shrine to pay attention to the Iraqi child and provide theatrical works that contribute to the development of children's skills and thought and preserve the constants of the Islamic religion, and the project aims to establish training workshops to write plays for children.
