The College of Education for Humanities at Wasit University organized an extensive workshop on the standards of important international classifications with the participation of the deans and teachers of the College of Education for Humanities, Basic Education and Physical Education and the College of Arts.
The workshop aimed to inform the participants of the most important international standards and follow up the indicators through which to enter the national and international classifications and the most important of those steps that can be followed in that,
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Sobeih, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, pointed out the importance of setting classification standards for colleges to motivate them, improve the level of programs and promote them towards more excellence and global competitiveness.
He stressed that these standards include all elements of the educational environment and scientific research with clear standards and weights.
For his part, the Assistant Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Prof. Dr. Hashim Aliwi, indicated the most important main and sub-indicators through which to enter these classifications, the most appropriate and closest, which is the British
Times classification, stressing the need to develop an integrated work plan and follow up the steps that must be followed with a review of some important international classifications and a statement of the standards adopted in them.
In conclusion, the participants in the workshop expressed their gratitude for what was stated in this workshop, which emphasized the important partnership relationship between academic institutions to work together to draw and develop higher education strategies.
