1992: B.A. in English Language and Literature, Dept. of English/ College of Arts/ al-Mustansiriya University.

Thesis and Dissertation:
MA: Sematic Roles of English prepositional Phrases.
PhD: Definiteness in Translation: A Pragmatic-Syntactic Study.

Work Experience:
September, 2012-Present: Head and Founder of Translation Department/ College of Arts / Wasit University, teaching the following materials: English Grammar, Translation into English, Translation into Arabic, Consecutive Interpreting, Principles of Translation, Theories of Translation, etc.

April,2010-Present: A Professor at the College of Arts/ Wasit University.
2016-Present: Lecturer to PhD candidates at the College of Science, Dept. of Physics and Dept. of Biology, teaching them English language for scientific purposes.

2011-Present: Lecturer to M.Sc. postgraduates at the College of Engineering, Dept. of Mechanical Engineering and Dept. of Civil Engineering, teaching them English language for scientific purposes.

2016-Present: Lecturer at the Dept. of English, teaching Syntax and Morphology to MA postgraduates.
2013, 20015,2016: Teaching English to Postgraduates at the Dept. of Arabic (Linguistic-Literature) and Dept. of History (Modern- Islamic-Ancient)

2007-2012: A Lecturer in the Open Educational College/ Wasit Center. Teaching the following materials for all classes at the Dept. of English: Grammar, Phonetics and Phonology, Composition, Comprehension, Linguistics, dialogue, Translation and Methods of Research.

2000-2004: A Lecturer at the Dept. of English at the College of Arts/ al-Mustansiriya University (Baghdad), teaching many linguistic curricula to different classes.

1998-2003: Lecturer of English at Dept. of Tourism and Hotel Management/ College of Administration and Economics/ al-Mustansiriya University.

2006-2008: Employee at the In-Service Training Department/ DG of Education in Wasit. Holding training courses for English teachers.

2000-2006: Translator and Researcher at the Ministry of Education / Educational Research Center (Baghdad):
• Translating educational documents, research papers, books, booklets, letters, certificates, and other related materials.
• Writing educational research papers concerning schools, students, teaching staffs, curricula, etc.

1993-2000: Appointed by the Ministry of Education as a teacher of English at intermediate and secondary schools in Babil (Babylon) and Baghdad respectively.
