Dr Mohammed Ghalib Muhssen Al-Azawy
– BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kufa/ Kufa/ Iraq in 2002.
– MSc in Mechanical Engineering/ power planet from the University of Kufa/ Kufa/ Iraq in 2006.
– PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Manchester/ Manchester/ UK in 2016.
– Has been working as a member of the academic staff in the mechanical engineering department/ University of Wasit since 2006.
– Coordinator of Mechanical Engineering Department, Wasit University, Wasit / Iraq, from 2007-2011.
Research Interests
1. Using Computational Fluid Dynamics in Fluid Flow Applications.
2. Blood flow investigation within the medical devices.
3. Blood damage models.
4. Turbulent flow through the pumps (pulsatile and continuous flow).
5. Newtonian and non-Newtonian blood flow within ventricular assist devices.
6. Dynamic mesh and moving boundary applications.
