Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, the College of Medicine at Wasit University took part in the International Accreditation Celebration for Medical Colleges.

The university delegation was led by Dr. Naseer Kazem Al-Maliki, Dean of the College of Medicine, accompanied by several academics from the college.

The conference was held at Baghdad University – College of Medicine under the theme: “The Future of International Accreditation in Higher Education and Modern Technologies.”

During the conference, Dr. Al-Maliki delivered a presentation titled “The Role of International Accreditation in Enhancing the Quality of University Education and Scientific Research.” He highlighted the significance of academic accreditation in improving educational standards and strengthening the international reputation of educational and medical institutions. He also discussed modern accreditation mechanisms and how they align with educational standards.

Dr. Al-Maliki emphasized that international accreditation is not merely a quality standard but also an opportunity to develop programs and achieve the university’s future aspirations, contributing to both the academic system and society in Iraq.
