Under the patronage of the President of Wasit University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Obaidi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Waeli, in collaboration with the “Hand of Aid” Charitable Humanitarian Campaign, and in the presence of representatives from the Community Police,

And in line with the principles of social solidarity, promoting values of giving and humanity, and feeling a sense of community responsibility toward vulnerable groups, the staff and employees of the College of Administration and Economics took the initiative to collect financial donations to organize an Iftar banquet at the Dar Al-Wafa for the elderly. This was a gesture of gratitude and appreciation for this noble group that has dedicated its life to giving and serving the community.

This initiative is part of Wasit University’s commitment to activating its humanitarian and societal role, and reinforcing the culture of social responsibility among its members. Caring for the elderly is a moral and human duty that reflects the authenticity and cohesion of society.
