Under the auspices of wasit University President Dr. Mazen Al-Hasani and supervised by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Assistant Professor Dr. Naseer Al-Maliki, the Faculty of Medicine of Wasit University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Iranian University of Martyr Sadduqi, during the visit of the Iranian delegation to the Faculty of Medicine, which is made up of Dr. Mohammad Baqir, official of Iranian international relations, and Dr. Amir Hushan, Assistant President of Sadduqi University for Research and Technology Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Hussein is a specialist in emergency medicine, which lasted for two days. Al-Hasani said that the goal of signing the memorandum is to open the doors of approved scientific and cognitive cooperation and create courses to develop the talents of our scientific cadres and develop cooperation between the two countries and their desire to expand it in the journals of education, research, technology, culture, student affairs and postgraduate studies, open doors to research centers as a center for addiction treatment and center for advanced research of cardiology and others, exchange visits of students and workshops for students from both sides. The visit included two axes, the first was a workshop in the Faculty of Medicine presented by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs Dr. Saleh Salman Al-Jabri, in which he presented a profile of the Faculty of Medicine, and presented a profile of The Martyr Saduki University presented by Dr. Amir Hushan, as well as the delegation's visit to Zahra Educational Hospital, the second dealt with the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the two universities in the Faculty of Engineering. The visit came out by granting opportunities to graduates of Wasit University to complete his master's and doctoral studies at Saduki University, the possibility of providing training courses at Saduki University to the staff of hospitals in Wasit province, as well as cooperation with the universities in order to publish research in journals issued by the two universities and at the end of the visit the delegation expressed their admiration for Wasit University, and that it is a prestigious university with good educational and research facilities and distinguished professors.
