A doctoral thesis at wasit University's Faculty of Education discussed the efforts of Iraqi researchers in linguistic correction in the modern era 20002020 the thesis prepared by student Hussein Ali Hussein al-Awadi aims to reveal the efforts of Iraqi researchers in linguistic correction in two decades and to show the books and research they wrote on the subject of linguistic correction and then study their opinions and trends in linguistic correction and to clarify who went the way of militancy and who took tolerance as a path and method in its corrections. The Iraqi researchers in the linguistic correction on two parts of the first were strict in the mistake and they were taking the words and denying what was other and to speak to them with eloquence and the other section were lenient in dealing with the issue of error they were not wrong the word or style as long as there is an Arabic dialect or a prophetic hadith sharif or a verse he spoke. Any review of the Arab heritage under the pretext of qualifying the correction was not enough to know the Arabic for its sting in the field of saying and did not understand everything.
