Faculty of Education for Humanities discusses Russia's geo-military role in the Middle East
A master's thesis in the Faculty of Education for HumanIties, Wasit University, discussed the Russian geo-military role in the Middle East (Syria model) an analytical study in geopolitics, which aims to identify the nature of the Russian geo-military role in that region, specifically in the Syrian crisis, analyze its strategic dimensions and indicate the nature of Russia's geostrategic interests. In cooperation, military partnership, arms deals and review of the most prominent Russian direct and indirect military interventions, it showed that the Syrian geographical location made it one of the most important geopolitical, economic and military centers in this most vital region in the world. But it showed that the Syrian geographical location secures access to the most important straits and corridors in the world and the letter pointed out that the nature of the geo-military role in Syria strengthened its regional and international position as an effective player in the Syrian crisis by imposing a new political and military reality that gave Russia an important dimension in regional and international dialogues seeking to settle the Syrian crisis peacefully
