A master's thesis in the Faculty of Arts, Wasit University, was discussed under the title: "Poetic proverbs, the book of proverbs issued by the houses of poetry, for hamza al-Asbahani as a model"
The letter prepared by the student (Sajjad Mohammed Abdul Rida al-Lami) dealt with The Arabic proverbs, which received great attention from researchers because of their extensive and inexhaustible linguistic material and its importance in our daily lives because of its judgment and sermons.
The letter included the concept and importance of poetic proverbs in Arab life, and began to study these proverbs and books issued by the houses of poetry specifically based on the descriptive approach supported by some analysis of poetic verses.
In his study, the researcher relied on the books of proverbs and other books of literature and criticism to show the meaning of the sayings and poetic ideals, as well as the books of semantic fields to show the meaning of semantic fields and to prepare them with most of the books of the statement and language to show the methods of poets in poetic proverbs as well as books of ancient and modern presentations.
