The Medical Microbiology Branch of wasit University School of Medicine organized a scientific course for graduate students entitled "Methods of DNA Extraction", which lasted for two days, in which M.D. lectured. Gfran Jabr Al-Akili, A.M.D. Lami Hikmat Karim, and M.D. With the participation of a number of teaching staff, the course aimed to introduce different ways of extracting DNA from different sources, such as dna targeted from the cells of primitive-nucleus organisms such as bacteria and viruses. Or real nucleus such as fungi, plants and different animals, as well as multiple extraction methods (mechanical, enzyme and chemical) to maintain the integration and purity of DNA. This method is very easy and fast to obtain DNA and due to its ease of use as well as gives a high concentration and purity of DNA compared to other traditional methods, so most researchers and graduate students sought refuge. High purity, the second recommendation indicated when using pcr chain polymerization reaction device requires purity of the extracted fat ranging from 1.8 and this purity is achieved when using the extraction kit, so all researchers recommended the use of extraction kits instead of traditional methods.
