The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Wasit University has developed a master's degree in computer science- software science/software department for the 2023/2022 academic year. The Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Sinan Adnan Al-Shammari, said that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has agreed to develop a master's degree in computer science, pointing out that admission to the study will open in the next academic year 2023/2022, adding that the opening of graduate studies in the college is a qualitative shift that will contribute to the development of the educational process at Wasit University and achieve academic sobriety and will benefit many sons of the province and neighboring provinces, pointing out that the college provided all practical requirements from laboratories and halls This decision is in line with the scientific development and the need for vertical expansion adopted by Wasit University in postgraduate studies, and in order to raise the scientific and academic level of the college, and to allow students to complete their studies, which ensures the qualification of advanced scientific staff in these disciplines, which will ensure a model higher study and graduation of distinguished scientific staff.
