The Department of History in the Faculty of Education for the Humanities at Wasit University in cooperation with the Cultural House of Wasti and ashur Organization for Development and Human Rights held the first scientific conference to document the cognitive achievement of wasit intellectuals in the presence of academic, cultural, official and senior students, the president of the university, Professor Dr. Mazen Al Hasani, said that we are proud that Wasit is among the oldest cities and we have to cherish this history and this iraq and we as academics, thinkers and intellectuals to show our province the appearance it deserves and pointed out that the development and progress of wasit University comes Through its researchers and professors who have researched all kinds of knowledge where our university through their writings and research was able to progress and develop where it was able and within a short time to occupy advanced positions in international and Arab classifications and indicated that the university will soon open a center to revive wasit heritage and document the achievements of wasit creators in various fields. Once again, the call to write wasit's history in a way that suits her and her intellectuals, her history and her civilization. Discussion sessions distributed according to the fields of scientific knowledge. On the sidelines of the conference, an exhibition of knowledge writers was opened, bringing together the products of the creators and intellectuals who were researched at the conference.
