Wasit University participated in the Iraqi University Volleyball Championship (Students) held by Al-Qadisiyah University in cooperation with the University of Knowledge and decided in the technical meeting held by the organizer of the championship and in the presence of the participating teams and after the draw to be the team of Wasit University in group A, which includes the teams of universities (Kufa, Kirkuk, Qadisiyah, Al Ain Al Ahli and Al Qasim Al-Khadra). Fraternity between Iraqi universities as well as building bridges of acquaintance between university students in addition to refining their sports talents. Atta praised the efforts of Wasit University President Dr. Mazen Al Hasani in overcoming all administrative and financial difficulties to participate in these tournaments and according to the ministerial schedule of the department of student activities.
