Faculty of Education for the Humanities discusses master's thesis on environmental impact assessment of Zubeidi power plant in Wasit province
I discussed at the Faculty of Education for the Humanities University wasit master's letter tagged (environmental impact assessment of Zubeidia power plant in Wasit province)
The letter prepared by the student (Haitham Abdul Kadhim Razij Al-Jurani) aims to know the impact of this plant on air, water, plant, noise, electrical and magnetic field, as well as to identify the electricity industry, energy sources, fuels used in its production and the most important types and numbers of power plants in Iraq and the extent to which they affect environmental pollution.
The study touched on the natural characteristics that include geology and climate and their impact on environmental pollution in addition to knowing the characteristics of the plant and the numbers and sizes of its production units, the fuels used in it, the quantity and sources and the extent to which they affect environmental pollution.
The letter showed that the concentration of some contaminated gases in the air of the study area exceeded local and global determinants and others did not exceed the determinants when comparing the concentrations of air-contaminated gases with local and global determinants of gases (carbon dioxide gas, carbon monoxide, methane, hydrogen chloride gas, hydrogen cyanide gas, and when comparing nitrogen dioxide and sulphur dioxide gas with global determinants have exceeded the limits allowed globally in several locations. When compared with local determinants, they came within the locally permitted limits and in all locations.
