The President of Wasit University delivers a speech at the beginning of the new academic year
Prof. Dr. Mazen Hassan Jassim Al-Hasani, President of Wasit University, delivered a speech on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, in which he stated:
Dear brothers, sisters, members of the university, dear students:
I am pleased and honored to welcome you at the beginning of the new academic year, in which we look forward to more fruitful and serious work in order to achieve the goals for which we gathered in this great scientific edifice, hoping that God Almighty will help us all to perform our academic, administrative and educational tasks as required in order for this year to be full of giving, crowned with success, and full of achievements and excellence.
We confirm that the university and all its formations have completed their preparations to receive the academic year (2022-2023), and all preparations have been completed to receive the application.
Today, we call on all teaching staff at our university to support and develop the educational and research process and for our university to be distinguished and contribute to the development and progress of society and solve its problems, as well as to focus on the role of scientific research at the university to make it occupy advanced positions in the international rankings of Arab and international universities.
Finally, we wish all our dear students and the teaching and administrative staff working at the university an academic year full of seriousness, diligence, perseverance, success and the search for ways to raise the level of higher education and scientific research, as it represents the sober base for the scientific, knowledge, cultural and value building of human societies.
