University President Opens Bazaar for Student Handmade Products at the College of Education for Humanities during Entrepreneurship Week
The President of Wasit University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Aqabi, inaugurated the bazaar for student-made products and handicrafts organized by the Department of Geography at the College of Education for Humanities, as part of Entrepreneurship Week activities, with the participation of faculty members, students, and staff.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Quraishi, his scientific assistant Prof. Dr. Nasser Al-Rukabi, as well as several faculty members, staff, and students.
The bazaar aims to foster a spirit of cooperation and human solidarity among students, instill their interest in charitable activities, and support initiatives that help and assist those in need, while promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the university community.
The bazaar included a variety of scientific, artistic, and cultural activities, most notably displays of handmade products, artistic performances, a book exhibition, and a photography exhibition featuring students’ creations.
This initiative also supports students in developing their skills, encourages them to enhance their creative abilities, and motivates them to establish their own projects, ultimately increasing their opportunities for future success
