In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the College of Fine Arts at the University of Wasit announces the opening of applications for students wishing to apply for admission to the Department of Art Education and the Department of Plastic Arts, in accordance with the regulations governing direct admission for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Applications and the distribution of admission forms will begin on Monday, September 7, 2026, and will continue for a period of 30 days.
Following the application period, applicants will be required to take admission tests. The dates of these tests will be announced at a later time after the application period has concluded.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to submit the following documents upon application:
- An official graduation certificate/confirmation with verified authenticity.
- National ID Card.
- Electronic payment card.
Admission Procedures by Academic Track
Scientific and Literary Tracks:
Admission is processed through the Central Admission System.
Graduates of the Institute of Fine Arts, Institute of Musical Studies, Institute of Arts and Folk Crafts, and Applied Arts:
Admission is processed through Direct Admission.
Applications are permitted for graduates of preparatory-level studies from the following tracks/institutes:
- Institutes of Fine Arts
- Institute of Musical Studies
- Institute of Arts and Folk Crafts
- Islamic Studies
This applies to graduates of the current academic year (2025/2026) and the previous academic year, provided that applicants from the previous academic year submit official documentation from the relevant college/institute confirming that they are not currently registered, or that their previous admission was cancelled, deferred, or that they failed the academic year, as applicable.
