As part of the activities held during the Anti-Drug Awareness Week, the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Science, University of Wasit, organized a distinctive event represented by the launch of the “Confession Box” initiative for students.

This initiative aims to provide a safe and confidential space for students to express their psychological, social, and educational concerns by writing about their problems or opinions and placing them in a designated box within the college.

The activity also included reviewing and analyzing the submitted notes in order to study the issues raised and propose appropriate solutions in cooperation with the College Dean’s Office and relevant authorities. The initiative seeks to promote students’ mental health and prevent negative pressures that may lead to maladaptive behaviors such as drug abuse.

The event received wide positive engagement from students, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering a culture of dialogue and psychological support within the university.
