In the framework of strengthening cooperation between the College of Fine Arts – University of Wasit and the schools of Wasit Governorate, an agreement has been reached to launch a joint artistic collaboration program. The program includes organizing educational field trips and joint art exhibitions involving both college and school students.
This initiative aims to cultivate aesthetic appreciation among students, enhance cultural and educational communication between the two institutions, and provide opportunities for students to explore various artistic experiences and exchange knowledge in painting, sculpture, design, and performing arts.
Discussions regarding the details of this collaboration were held with the administrations of Al-Shorouq Primary School for Boys and Al-Najah Primary School, both of which expressed strong enthusiasm and full readiness to provide logistical and educational support to ensure the success of the joint activities.
The College’s Dean emphasized that this initiative aligns with the college’s vision to engage with the local community and to support artistic and educational activities that help discover young talents and develop students’ creative abilities within a productive shared learning environment. The ultimate goal is to build a generation with refined artistic taste, cultural awareness, and a deep appreciation for beauty and creativity in society.
