The College of Dentistry Organizes an Awareness Seminar Entitled "A Healthy University Environment: Strategies to Reduce Smoking on Campus"

Under the patronage of the President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Aqabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Hani Mohsen Khulaif, the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College of Dentistry organized an awareness seminar entitled:

"A Healthy University Environment: Strategies to Reduce Smoking on Campus."

The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Sajaa Abbas Jabbar, who discussed the health, psychological, and social risks associated with smoking, as well as its negative impact on the university environment. The seminar also reviewed a number of preventive and educational strategies aimed at reducing the prevalence of smoking on campus and promoting a culture of healthy behavior among students.

The seminar witnessed positive engagement from the students, highlighting the importance of such awareness activities and the vital role of the University Psychological Counseling Unit in fostering a healthy and safe university environment.
