The College of Agriculture at Wasit University organized a volunteer campaign to plant trees and greenery in the college’s gardens and corridors, with active participation from evening-study students. The initiative forms part of the University’s efforts to improve the campus environment and promote environmentally friendly practices.


The campaign included planting twelve different types of flowers and plants, aiming to expand green spaces, enhance the aesthetic appearance of the campus, and provide a healthy and sustainable educational environment that supports the well-being of students and staff.


This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to environmental protection, climate action, and sustainability in educational institutions. It also reflects the College’s commitment to fostering a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility among students.
