Al-Nour Cultural Forum Honors Student Mujtaba Ghanem Nadhif in Recognition of a National Achievement in the Arabic Language

honored the student Mujtaba Ghanem Nadhif from Wasit Secondary School for Outstanding Students for qualifying to represent Iraq in the Arabic Language Month Competition, which will be held in Qatar, as one of seven qualifiers nationwide.

The honoring ceremony was held in the presence of the President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Aqabi, along with a number of academics and cultural figures. This initiative reflects the University’s commitment to supporting outstanding students, nurturing young talents, and enhancing its engagement in national and international cultural and academic events.

This recognition represents part of Wasit University’s community engagement role, strengthening partnerships with cultural and educational institutions and aligning with global university ranking criteria that emphasize societal impact, cultural openness, and contributions to sustainable human development.

The University affirmed that supporting such achievements contributes to consolidating its position as an active educational institution in developing national talents, building strong community partnerships, and promoting cultural and linguistic identity, in addition to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly quality education, youth empowerment, and effective community partnerships.

It is worth noting that Mujtaba Ghanem Nadhif was also honored by the Minister of Education, Dr. Ibrahim Namis Al-Jubouri, during the Arabic Language Month Festival held at the Ministry’s headquarters, after qualifying in the Arabic Poetry Category, which is organized under the patronage of the League of Arab States and ISESCO, marking a distinguished national achievement.
