The importance of the research lies in the use of special exercises to accompany an innovative device to develop the explosive ability of the two men and to know the extent to which it affects the development of the performance of the skills of defensive and offensive follow-up basketball for young players.

As for the problem of research, the researcher noted that there is a clear weakness in the accuracy and implementation of defensive and offensive follow-up among young basketball players, which is not commensurate with the aspirations of the training programs 'and the reasons may be due to not giving them enough time in training units or the lack of equipment and tools for training this skill', which prompted the researcher to design a training device for the skill of follow-up basketball.

The study aimed to design an innovative device to develop the explosive ability of the two men and perform the skill of defensive and offensive follow-up basketball and recognize its impact in the development of defensive and offensive basketball follow-up.

The researcher used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research and the design of the two equal groups of tribal and remote measurement, as the society and the research sample identified the province of Wasit province for the first degree '4 clubs and the number of players (54) players' and the sample of research was chosen in the deliberate way was The 12 young sports club players (12) players 'by draw were divided into two controlling groups (6) players and experimental (6) players and the research sample formed a percentage (22.22%) of the research community' and homogeneity and parity were conducted In variables of height, weight and training age.
