Under the patronage of the President of Wasit University, Professor Dr. Abbas Lafta Al-Aqabi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Hani Mohsen Khulaif, the Technology Incubator Unit at the College of Dentistry, in cooperation with the college’s academic staff, employees, and students, as well as the Student Activities Unit and the Volunteer Work Unit, organized a student bazaar to support entrepreneurial initiatives and small businesses as part of the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week.

The bazaar was inaugurated by the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Shihab, who toured the exhibition booths and was briefed on the projects and products presented by the participating students. He praised their innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit, which reflected their creativity, ambition, and commitment to excellence.

The event witnessed broad participation from the college’s students, who showcased a variety of products and creative works. The bazaar aimed to promote the culture of entrepreneurship and self-employment, encourage students to transform their innovative ideas into practical projects, and provide an interactive environment for exchanging experiences, knowledge, and ideas while fostering collaboration and innovation.

This event is part of a series of activities organized by the College of Dentistry at Wasit University to support young talents, strengthen the culture of entrepreneurship, and create a stimulating academic environment that encourages creativity and excellence, while equipping students with the skills needed to meet the demands of the labor market and contribute to sustainable development.
