The College of Dentistry at Wasit University has signed a scientific and academic cooperation agreement with the College of Dentistry at Al-Kut University College, aiming to strengthen joint cooperation and exchange expertise in scientific and academic fields.
This agreement reflects the shared commitment of Wasit University and Al-Kut University College to fostering scientific, cultural, and educational collaboration, promoting the exchange of expertise, maximizing the capabilities and resources of both institutions, and activating frameworks for scientific and cultural cooperation in a manner that serves Iraq and supports its path toward progress and prosperity.
The agreement was concluded during the visit of a delegation from the College of Dentistry at Al-Kut University College to Wasit University. The delegation was headed by the Dean of the College, Dr. Waleed Shallal Al-Quraishi, and included the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Baqir Ghanim Murad, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Qasim Al-Saffar. They were received by the Dean of the College of Dentistry at Wasit University, Assistant Professor Dr. Hani Mohsen Khulaif, together with the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Sajjad Mohsen Arif, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Karim Aboud.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Assistant President of Wasit University for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Subaih Lafta Al-Zubaidi, and the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Shihab Ahmed. The agreement aims to strengthen academic collaboration and enhance the scientific standards of both institutions.
Under the agreement, the two parties will cooperate through the exchange of expertise, training programs, and academic consultations in areas of mutual interest, particularly in curriculum development, enhancing the competencies of faculty members, supporting student activities, developing the capabilities of academic, administrative, and technical staff, and improving matters related to national assessment examinations in accordance with the directives of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority at the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Dean of the College of Dentistry at Wasit University presented certificates of appreciation to the Dean of the College of Dentistry at Al-Kut University College and his scientific and administrative assistants. In return, Dr. Waleed Shallal Al-Quraishi presented commemorative shields to the Assistant Presidents of Wasit University and to the Dean of the College of Dentistry at Wasit University in recognition of their efforts and to mark this important occasion.
