Professor Sallal Rasheed Abid has been ranked, for the fifth consecutive year, among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, according to the annual list published by the global academic publisher Elsevier in collaboration with Stanford University.

This ranking is based on rigorous scientific criteria, including the number of published research papers, citation impact, and the international influence of a researcher’s scientific contributions. The continued presence of Professor Abid’s name on this prestigious list highlights his sustained research productivity, academic excellence, and distinguished position within his field of expertise.

This international recognition represents a significant contribution to the reputation of the College of Engineering and  Wasit University.
