About the Department

The Department of Studies and Planning is one of the principal administrative departments within the Presidency of Wasit University. It is responsible for developing strategic plans and future studies, managing institutional databases and statistics, overseeing the establishment of colleges and academic departments, and developing the University's organizational structure and academic systems in line with the policies and regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The Department is committed to providing accurate data and analytical indicators that support informed decision-making, enhance academic and administrative performance, promote educational quality, and contribute to the continuous development of the university environment in pursuit of excellence and institutional leadership.

To achieve leadership in academic and administrative planning through an integrated system based on accurate data that supports quality education, digital transformation, and sustainable development.
