The Secretariat of the University of Wasit Council

This is a vital administrative and executive body within the university's organizational structure. It serves as a liaison between the university president and the members of the University Council. Its main tasks and responsibilities include:

* Preparing for Council Meetings: The Secretariat is responsible for all preparations for University Council meetings, from setting dates and agendas to sending invitations and necessary documents to members in a timely manner.

* Documenting Decisions: The Secretariat is responsible for writing the minutes of meetings and documenting all decisions and recommendations made, ensuring the accuracy and validity of the information.

* Monitoring Implementation: After decisions are issued, the Secretariat monitors their implementation in cooperation with the various colleges and departments within the university and prepares periodic reports on the progress of work.

* Maintaining Records and Documents: The Secretariat is responsible for maintaining all records and documents of the University Council, such as decisions, correspondence, and reports, in an organized and secure manner.

* Administrative Coordination: The Secretariat facilitates communication and coordination among Council members, as well as between the Council and the various university departments, to ensure the smooth functioning of administrative processes.
